Article by Zhang Xinyue of Create Abundance

In our daily lives, “stress” is used so often that we don’t pay attention to what it means. It can be explained as a stressful lifestyle, a tough day at the office, or a big conflict with your spouse, and all of those things can be very damaging to us.

To perform at our highest levels, humans need regular restorative experiences, including meditation. Taking time for yourself each week is beneficial in so many ways. You can clear your mind, breathe in deeply, and find your center. These experiences make us better people.

Whenever harmful substances are absorbed into your nervous system, your body releases emergency chemicals in a process known as “fight or flight.” What in fact happens these days is that people get stressed out all the time throughout their week causing them to release emergency chemicals as a result. They stay in a constant state of “fight or flight” and this causes great harm to the heart and cardiovascular system.

It’s best to learn ways of dealing with stress so you can have joy and inner peace. Meditating offers that and a lot more.

Zhang Xinyue gives us wonderful quotes from her book:

“Remember: always take spiritual cultivation as the mainline. Wealth, intimate relations, influence…all is used as a mirror to look in and verify our growth.”

Zhang Xinyue is the author of the book Create Abundance. The book is a collection of Teacher Zhang Xinyue’s words of wisdom concerning body-mind-spirit cultivation. It was first released in 2012 and became a best seller. You can find it in numerous languages.
